Regular course within the MSc Physical Geography at Marburg University.
Global change is one of the key topics in geography and other environmental sciences. Hence, understanding global change and the role of geography in this context is one of the key qualifications in the professionalization of geographers.
In this module we will approach the subject of global change from both a geography perspective and and educational perspective. The former will focus on drafting individual scientific key subjects from a geography perspective. The latter will transfer the resulting essentials in an exhibition content suitable for communicating the subject to scientific laymen.
