L11: Biodiversity

Things we cover in this session

After computing the final land-cover data set, one can use it for some follow up computations like e.g. a rough landscape characterization based on some biodiversity measures.

  • combine “GIS” and “Remote Sensing” data sets
  • compute simple biodiversity measures relative to the position of an object
